🚨 Breaking News from the Old Hastings Snow Riders 🚨

Our neighbours at the Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers Snowmobile Club are holding their big annual fundraiser this Saturday — and we want YOU to support them!

Because of this, we will be cancelling our Pop-Up BBQ this Saturday and will reschedule it for another date.

Let’s show up for our trail neighbours and help make their event a huge success. 💙 Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

📍 Event Details from Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers:

The Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers Snowmobile Club will be hosting their 4th Annual Silent Auction & Cookout on:

🗓 Saturday, February 21, 2026
📍 348 Boulter Lake Road, Lake St. Peter (just off the B106E)
(Trail signs will be posted)

⏰ Doors open at 10 AM
🕛 Auction tables close at Noon
🌭 Food served until 1 PM

Plenty of time to ride and stop in!

🔥 Cookout includes burgers, hot dogs, chili, and soup (no charge for food — cash donations appreciated).
💵 Cash preferred for auction items (e-transfers and pickup can be arranged).
🧥 MLSS clothing will be available for purchase.

This is their biggest annual fundraiser, supporting costs not covered by District/OFSC. Local businesses have generously donated thousands of dollars in goods and services — so come ready to bid!

You don’t have to be a sledder to participate. Car parking is available, and if you’re staging a trailer consider Linkies Gas Bar & General Store or the Birds Creek lot.

Come out, check out their fleet, meet the volunteers, and consider joining their hardworking team — it’s not too late to get involved with grooming!

Let’s support our neighbours and keep our trail community strong! 🙌
