Trail Patrol

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Trail Patrol Program commenced in 1983 at the time when snowmobile trails were being managed under a user-pay system.

Trail Patrol Members are dedicated Snowmobile Club Volunteers who regularly patrol Ontario’s snowmobile trails, provide valuable trailside information to snowmobilers and promote the provincial user pay system.

There are currently 100 Trail Patrol Members in District 2…and the list is growing!  Last season, over 3000 hours were spent patrolling trails.

Trail Patrol will be on the trails this winter checking for permits and promoting safety.

If you are interested in becoming a ‘Trail Patrol Member’, contact your local snowmobile club’s Trail Patrol Instructor.
